RESPONSE AND ALARM LISTINGS
  "When things get "

Emergencies are dispatched by a street matrix on file at Luzerne County 911.  Each street in the Township is listed and the appropriate fire department and EMS response is listed for each street.  The matrix is updated frequently to assure the proper response for that area or street.

The alarm card is updated regularly based upon the needs of the Department balanced with the available resources.  In some cases a near-by company may not be included on an alarm.  This can be done for a variety of reasons, however most times it is done so as not to deplete an area of manpower and/or apparatus.
